No Win, No Fee

At Yorkshire's Injury Lawyers we are often asked how the No Win, No Fee system works. Here's a quick guide to set your mind at rest but if you have any questions then feel free to contact one of our highly trained legal team on 0800 0197 772.

A no-win, no-fee arrangement, more properly known as a Conditional Fee Agreement (CFA) means...

A No Win, No Fee arrangement, which is sometimes called a Conditional Fee Agreement (CFA) means that should your personal injury claim be unsuccessful then you won't have to pay your solicitor or opposing side any costs. If your claim is not upheld then insurance cover taken out by Yorkshire's Injury Lawyers means you won't have to pay any fees.

No Win, No Fee means that people put off by the thought of large legal bills aren't deterred from making a valid compensation claim. At Yorkshire's Injury Lawyers we strongly believe that if you've rightfully fallen victim to negligence that has resulted in an injury then you should not be deterred from taking action.

No Win, No Fee means exactly that - if you don't win, you have nothing to pay.

Our aim is always to get you the maximum compensation you are entitled to for any injuries you have sustained and this can also include loss of wages or out of pocket expenses incurred because of the accident.

We are here to support you every step of the way and that's exactly what we will do. So, if you've been the victim, of a road traffic accident, slip, trip or injury at work that wasn't your fault then Yorkshire's Injury Lawyers can get you the maximum compensation you are entitled to.

Will I have to pay anything?

From the 1st April 2013 the Government introduced new legislation which changed the way in which we are able to handle personal injury cases.  Prior to this date, if your claim was successful, you would get to keep 100% of the compensation recovered and the losing side would cover all of the legal costs.

The new rules still allow us to offer a no-win, no-fee service but they also allow us to recover what is known as a "success fee" from your compensation if your claim is successful.  The rules state that the maximum limit on the amount of the success fee we can recover from your compensation is 25%. Therefore we expect that in the majority of cases you will still receive a minimum of 75% of the compensation recovered and we will do everything in our power to get the maximum amount you deserve for your claim.  In the event that you take out an insurance policy with us the rules also entitle us to deduct any premium from your compensation.

With Yorkshire's Injury Lawyers you will still benefit from:-

  • Having no legal costs to pay throughout the duration of your claim.
  • Absolutely no hidden costs.
  • Nothing to pay if your claim is not successful.
  • Peace of mind that you will not have to pay the other side's costs.

We aim to do everything we possibly can to help you through your claim.  Our team of highly trained solicitors and legal executives will keep you up to date with the progress of your case and we will do everything we can to ensure you are successful with your claim.

Yorkshire's Injury Lawyers are supporters of the Quittance Fairer No Win No Fee Deal for Claimants Campaign.

"Would you please accept my most sincere thanks for acting so successfully and professionally on my behalf in the above proceedings. I am very grateful to you."
