Alisia McGavin

Alisia McGavin

Client Advisor

Alisia began a career in law on leaving school, gaining experience in a broad range of legal issues before specialising in medical negligence and personal injury. Her role is to be the initial point of contact for people taking the first step in their claim.

Listening to what happened and making sense of it is crucial to Alisia, as clients need to understand what has happened to them and what can be done about it.

“When I get that first phone call, I know how important it is that clients know I am on their side from the start. Suffering an injury or illness because of someone else can be frightening, or make you angry. I never take it personally, I understand just how traumatic it can be and just want to help.”

Dealing with all kinds of enquiries, from simple injuries to life changing ones, gives Alisia valuable experience that she believes benefits clients. “My role is to help work out what happened to the client, making sure they get the best legal advice as soon as possible. By listening to what happened I make sure they get expert help from the right solicitor straight away. I know that doing my job well helps the client and their solicitor get off to the best possible start.”

Alisia believes that first contact made can make a real difference. “I believe in treating everyone I help in the same way I would like to be helped, professionally and honestly. My phone call is the first step towards getting compensation. I think of it as the foundations for a successful claim.”
